Some updates, production capability & equipment along with some of our current projects and planned projects.
Spring '09: Changes & Additions:
In spring of 2007, we bought a host of new production equipment so we could stay on top of our production game. We've made the jump to HDTV, and DTE for almost all of our field acquisition equipment. If you're not sure what that means for you, our clients, we'll be glad to help you understand it in any of your sales or pre-production meetings. VIDTEK's bottom line has always been, help clients understand how technology will work for them. And our production equipment is no exception to that rule. It's our commitment to you our clients.
DTE: 2008
We still produce programming with videotape, but not as often as we used to. Since we started recording directly onto HD, and editing in a native digital format, we've been able to save our clients valuable time and money in post production. Our clients have told us that . . . " . . . we're very pleased with your move to digital video. We can't believe the jump in quality." We're in the startup phase of some very exciting production venues for 2008 through 2010. Going digital will be able to help us bring quality programming to the digital homes of tomorrow, today.

Projects planned and in progress for '08 - '09
VIDTEK & Northwoods Entertainment will be out and about shooting a variety of projects, including our very successful series "Girls Gone Hodag" dvd series this summer. We will be shooting this years edition in July. Make sure you're on site, and say hi if you see our crews wandering around.
Northwoods Entertainment is currently in the pre-production portion of 2 documentary dvd's that should be completed by the end of '08. Both of these projects will be great additions to our long list of documentary productions. After all, documentaries are our favorite things to produce. Do you have a good Documentary Story that you want to tell? Let us know, we'll be glad to put a budget together and see if it's something we can produce for you.
**2009 Spring Update**
After months of working and investment in one of these two documentarys, the parties involved declined to become financially involved in the project, so the 100 year old sawmill (The Reds Sawmill Documentary) project was scraped. A nice story lost to the Northwoods lackluster economy. Our other documentary continues to be produced, and should be completed and aired by mid 2009. (*August/Sept.'09)
New for 2008! We're in the process of launching a new Television Network (WPEG.net) for the content we produce. Keep an eye out for news on this project, and the station launch dates. This network will be a good mix of serious and zanny programming. We also added a SE Wisconsin Office to help with our production needs in SE WI., and Northern IL. This allows us greater coverage in our media outlets for our Radio / Tv customers spot buys.
**2009 Spring Update**
We're now 1 year into the launching process, and contracts are waiting to be signed. Once those are in place, we'll be sure to post the ways to watch our content.
**2008-09 Spring Update**
Northwoods Entertainment LLC and Kokomo Enterprises started a Sound Reinforcement Company which is serving mid sized outdoor events and mid to large sized indoor venues. We've put into service a PA system that delivers 60k watts, along with mutltiple 32x8x2, 32x16x2 channel main mix boards and 8, & 16 channel portable mix stations for smaller venues, or small outdoor mixes.
